Second Chance Contributes to The Bugle Boy 

We want to thank Second Chance Emporium for their generous contribution to the Bugle Boy Foundation. 
These funds will be used in support of our community outreach programs.

 

Second Chance Emporium is a not for profit resale shop.  Be sure to drop off your gently used items or just go shopping!

Terri Hendrix & Lloyd Maines Youth Concert 

On June 19th a free concert for children and their family featuring Terri Hendrix & Lloyd Maines was held at the Fayette County Public Library.

The event was sponsored by the Bugle Boy Foundation, Texas Commission on The Arts and the Fayette County Public Library.

 

Bugle Boy Bee Removal 

On Sunday, June 9th, Steve Butler with Company Bee Apiary arrived at The Bugle Boy to remove a hive of Bees from the wall.

Sound Engineer Shares Knowledge With Youth! 

Bugle Boy's sound engineer John Pearson sharing his knowledge with Fayette County Youth during Career Cruising event sponsored by the Fayette Public Library and Main Street La Grange. This is part of the Bugle Boy's educational outreach to the community.

 

Scholarship Award 

On May 21, 2019  La Grange High School seniors were awarded 116 different scholarships. Operations Director, Heather Allbright presented Kyle Truss with the Bugle Boy Foundation's David & Vickie Vogel Music Scholarship.

 

Bugle Boy Gets New Parking Lot! 

Hurricane Harvey made things even worse and during the last week in June, the Bugle Boy was able to repair our washed out parking lot.  A big THANK YOU goes out to the Sanford & Mannie Schmid Charitable Trust for underwriting the expense of the project.  We would also like to thank KTIM 89.1 Community Radio for the additional parking space and Shroyer Construction for the work.

 

 

Kids Concerts at Public Library 

On June 13, 2018 The Bugle Boy sponsored a concert for area youth at the Fayette Public Library.  Performing musicians included Mike Stroup, Bad Bob Rohan and Robert Duke.  There were about 187 children and their parents in attendance.  The Children witnessed roping, sang along and even danced on stage!
